What is AET?
The AET system is a comprehensive student-centered agricultural education management system designed to help students track their educational experiences (classroom, SAE, and FFA) and document them in a way to help them learn life skills and improve their decision-making. A core value of AET is students learning to track their experiences, which develops their digital portfolio and allows them to leverage their data to complete state and national award applications.
When will I receive my AET account?
At the beginning of your Greenhand year, you will be provided with an AET username and password. You should always keep this username and password handy.
When should I begin keeping records in my AET record books?
You should immediately begin keeping records in your AET record book. Keep all recipes for projects and a calendar of events (FFA meetings, prospect, and livestock shows, practices, and competitions). Dedicate a day each month to log the previous month's events.
Why do I need to keep records in AET?
To receive your Greenhand FFA Degree, Chapter FFA Degree, Lonestar FFA Degree, American Farmer Degree, Star awards, Proficiency awards, and scholarships, you must keep thorough records in AET.
What do I record in my AET record book?
A checklist can be obtained by reaching out to Mrs. Coker.
Will we work on these together as a group?
Yes, will have workshops throughout the year to work on record books after school. However, you should always make an effort to work on books outside of school at least once a month. You might also update your books if you ever have downtime in your classes.
