2025 Steer Entries

Steer entries are now available online.  I greatly apologize for the delay in getting this online link working for orders.  We are allowing payment plans with steers only since we do not have checks out to students yet from the 2024 show.  (We are getting close to having all of the buyer payments, so I expect those to go out in the next couple of weeks.)  We do have to have a final number of steers to our breeder by the end of this month, so your deadline will be 3/28 at 11:59 PM.  A change that you need to be prepared for is that you will be getting your steer in May this year, instead of June.  All steers/entries must be paid in full by April 30. Below are your payment options:

  1. Pay in full when registering online at: https://huffman.fairwire.com/ using credit option.
  2. Pay in full through CTE office.  This can be cash, money order or cashier's check. Please make sure money orders and cashier's checks are made out to Huffman ISD. The CTE Office is located at HHS, so please let us know if you will be stopping by ahead of time so we can meet you in the front office.
  3. Submit deposit to CTE Office in the amount of $500 by April 1.  This can be cash, money order or cashier's check. Please make sure money orders and cashier's checks are made out to Huffman ISD.  If you want to pay by credit card for the deposit, let me know and we will figure out the best way to handle that.  The CTE Office is located at HHS, so please let us know if you will be stopping by ahead of time so we can meet you in the front office. Full payment would be due by April 30.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns that I may have missed in this email.  Ultimately, we do not want the 2024 show payments not being released be a hinderance of student participation.  We will do our best to work with you. Email kwalker@huffmanisd.net and lmarek@huffmanisd.net.

Information Required for Payment

If your child did not participate in the livestock show last year or has had a change in address or bank information, we must have the following in order to pay the exhibitor after the auction:

  • EFT (electronic funds transfer) form
  • W9 - must be student's name and social security #

The EFT form now includes a spot to upload the W9 form so that everything is turned in together.  You can access the EFT form here: https://forms.huffmanisd.net/Forms/AGEFT .  Forms should be completed by next Friday, January 20 in order for payments to be released in a timely manner.

If you have any questions about the EFT and W9 form, please email Lindsey Marek, CTE Director at lmarek@huffmanisd.net.
